If you find out, let me know. I’ve been coughing and hacking up phlegm for a week.

Codeine cough syrup. Works wonders but makes you drowsy as hell. But sleep is good when you feel shitty like that.

@philosopher Just wanted to remind you to talk to your doctor if it keeps up. We asthma sufferers are very prone to respiratory infections. :(

I have clear mucous running down my nose which means I do not have an infection. I hate the Codeine cough syrup because it makes me stoned and sleepy. My Son is off until after New Years. He is Autistic I should be alert.
I had the Flu vaccine, the H1N1 vaccine and the pneumonia vaccine .
Thank you all. Traciturnu I know you understand I have been fine for Years because I never get the Flu . I have a bad reactions to many medications. I have a low resistance and they make me stoned.
I think you know what I mean stranger. LOL one glass of wine and I am stoned .

@philosopher I do understand- I’m actually a lightweight myself! (But believe me, I still love my KJ chardonnay!!) I don’t get the flu either fortunately, but my asthma does flare up from time to time, and whenever I get a cold it always goes to my lungs. Sounds like you may be one of the lucky ones that it doesn’t happen to often. (Just make sure you check the color of your sputum, as nasal mucus isn’t a great indicator of what’s going on further down.)

Have you ever tried a neti pot?

And how old is your son? I loved working with people with autism. :)
