Can the iPhone receive multimedia text messages?

no it can not (for now). The great thing about iPhone is that apple comes out with free software updates every month or so which makes it better than before. Maybe apple will add multi media text in the future. But for now, if someone emails a pic to you, you can view it on the iPhone through the email app.

allknowingone, I love G4tv, but it’s not a viable source when it comes to Apple (no one is. Apple is a company that works in secret they rarely tell anyone what thier plans are. What you heard is just a rumor. There’s a lot of rumors around future iPhone updates. I’m not saying that there will never be multi media text. I’m just saying g4 statements of the 2 month period is false.
