Is there a resale market for shrinkwrapped .Mac "software" at a discount?

Asked by freerangemonkey (353points) February 27th, 2008 from iPhone

what with compusa shutting down, they have a ton of excess .mac boxes…brand new, still in the box and wrapped. All apple software is 50% off, so a 1 year account is only $50 instead of the regular $100. Should I buy some of these and sell them for $65 on craigslist??

Most mac users will buy it straight from their computers. The shrink-wrapped boxes just take up space.

.Mac is more of a service than software.

Yeah, but it costs $99/yr online…
