What are some good bars in Santa Monica?

I love dive bars the most, but really want to see where people hang.

I always liked O'brien's Irish Pub -its on Main Street in Santa Monica at Ashland. They have bands play some nights - fun people most nights.

What kind of thing are you looking for? Father's office on Wilshire has about 30 beers on draft and the best burger you'll ever have. Wilshire, again on Wilshire is more upscale and has a back padio.
