Lab. Good family dog.

I love Akitas because they are extremely loyal and protective without being trained to be that way. They are smart, and fastidious like cats (Akitas dig up the dirt, do their business, and bury it again.) and it’s always the same part of the yard :P

Pekingese because of their unique features and their history of where they came from.

I have a short haird german pointer got him from a kennel about two years. Hands down the best dog i’ve ever had. He’s very friendly, smart, playfull, great with kids, and he has big floppy ears.

Standard poodle——good with kids, incredibly smart, don’t shed, friendly and they have afros.

I have a pug, great dog. Especially if you live in an apartment in a city. Otherwise, I also love boxers – super friendly, beautiful dogs.

Pugs are awesome! They are great with kids, other animals, easy to exercise, and food motivated so they’re easy to train. They’re also cute as heck!!!

Brittany Spaniel, small, smart, great with kids, natural hunters

I love labs. They make great family dogs. But let’s not underestimate the value of a good mutt. I currently have a mutt. He is a chow/ golden retriever mixl, and a self made rescue dog. He alerted me that my husband was having a heart attack. He was in another room, and my dog kept whining and barking until I followed him. He saved my husband’s life. he had a blown coronary artery, and if I hadn’t found him when I did, he would have died.

Labradoodles or Keeshonds, but I also second scamp’s mutt-love.

massive guard dogs, really fierce ones to keep all the burglars away
