My keyboard has suddenly started acting like the kind you find in Thailand, any help?

Asked by RareDenver (13173points) January 6th, 2010

For some reason today my keyboard has started being weird, to get the @ sign I have to type [shift + 2] and not [shift + ’] and the ” sign is [shift + ’] and not [shift + 2]

How do I change it back?

I’m running Windows XP

Shift + 2 is supposed to be the @ symbol. Unless you really do have a keyboard from Thailand?

OK. That is a weird keyboard. Where did you get it?

It’s a normal keyboard here in the UK, and this particular one was a gift from my wife, I think she bought it at PC World
