Robert Jordan’s latest one is out. Got it, read it, loved it!

The Help by Kathryn Stockett is a very accessible, compelling novel about relationships between black maids and white women in Mississippi in the 1960s. I highly recommend it.

John Irving – Last Night in Twisted River was really good. I highly recommend it.

Richard Powers has that new one, Generosity, but I can’t tell you whether it’s any good yet. At the moment it’s sitting on my shelf. Still probably worth checking out.

My mom just finished Elizabeth Strout’s Olive Kitteridge which was published in ‘08 and won the ‘09 Pulitzer, so it can’t be too bad.

The Weight of Silence by Heather Gudenkauf
I really liked it. It’s not a happy read, but it’s not sad either.
And I usually can call book’s endings from the get-go, but this one, I didn’t at all… that’s just one of the reasons I liked it!
