Welcome :)
And only if you act like one.
All species welcomed.

You don’t have to worry about sharks for awhile. You need to worry about anemones and clams, guppies and tiny fry.

You have a ways to go before we can consider you a spineless crustacean; so far you’re a polyp of a spineless crustacean. “Spineless crustacean” takes some growing into.

But we’re glad you’re here.

Killer whales stand a better chance. The pack technique is quite effective.
Watch out for the tide, ya wouldn’t want to get washed up this early in the game. ;)

you’d be less likely to be eaten by sharks if you stop waving your arms!

lol welcome!

I was just joking. Really. There aren’t any sharks. The shark is a lie.

welcome to a very wonderful place!

Welcome to Fluther. Lurve.

Haleth's avatar

Not necessarily. You could be like this jelly.

Pandora's avatar

@Haleth Holy Cow!! Yep I would never go near that!

Welcome. You could work on being indigestible. Some of us are.

Just sea turtles. Yum!

You are pretty safe, there are only a couple of meanies here, most are nice!

Jeruba's avatar

@rooeytoo, you’ve got your blue velvet bows on! Hurray! You look adorable. I mean, Town Dog does.

rooeytoo's avatar

@Jeruba – Town Dog has been receiving compliments right and left since she started wearing them. I have told everyone it was your suggestion. Thank you.

The water is fine. My advice is to spend about thirty minutes looking around to see how we roll. And read the faq

Greetings lad! Don’t swim in the yellow water!

Thanks fellow fish! I think I’m going to like it here, when’s the next fish fry??

Arisztid's avatar

Just avoid calling yourself “chum” and you should not be eaten by sharks.

daemonelson's avatar

Yeah, you will be eaten by sharks. I’ve been eaten by them nearly 78 times now. It’s starting to hurt.

@octopussy :: Just ask one of the mods to look over your question first if you have doubts. Most of them are cool like that.

I know it sucks but it will make sense soon.

edit :: It sucks for you.. But it keeps me sane.

Don’t you mean (waves tentacles)?? ;-) Welcome to Fluther, home of the peanut butter and jellyfish!
@Haleth that would be a good avatar pic!

Welcome to the collective! The water is great and the asmosphere stimulating!

Jeruba's avatar

And anyway, jellyfish aren’t crustaceans, even if some of us are a bit crusty.

@Jeruba..thanks for the clarification, the correct word for an octopus is Cephalopod and they have the most advanced nervous system of all invertebrate animals and are active hunters… just what I need in these waters, lol.
