How many pictures can fit on this disk?

Asked by Gooood (50points) January 9th, 2010

one picture is about 6×10^6 bits

Each grain is either exposed or not and can therefore be digitised as 1 bit of
informatione,it her1 or 0.
A CD can store about 650 Mbytes of information

Now I’ve done (650×10^6×8)/ 6.08×10^6 =8.552631579×10^14 um but the answer is 855 but why is my calculator coming out with not the exact right answer?

Shouldn’t it say on the package?

@troubleinharlem
edit 885.

This is a question I’ve been given.

If I take both x10^6 out it works but why doesn’t it work when they’re in?
