How much does Earth weigh?

Well, so far it is a crap shoot. But Archimedes said, referring to the lever, “Give me a place to stand and I shall move the earth.” One could have done the math if Archie had found a place to plant himself.

the other answer is to take a table, turn it upside down and put a scale underneath. you have just measured the weight of the earth on the table.

…mass is another issue.

Your question makes the assumption that it’s possible to weigh the Earth in Earth pounds. @Arglebargle IV is right, the correct question is how much mass does the Earth have. An object with the same mass will weigh less (in Earth pounds) on the Moon and more on Jupiter.
