Interesting, Fun, or Super Tasty Lasanga Recipe?

I want to make a lasagna, or something like it, for dinner this week but I’m totally sick of the traditional variety. Don’t get me wrong, I adore marina, ricotta, spinach, mushrooms, ground beef, and all that good stuff – but I feel like trying something different.

I’ve got all the aforementioned ingredients (and lasagna noodles), and a whole bunch of other stuff. Anything I don’t have I can easily run out and get. I’m thinking about cooking this Wednesday, so no rush with your answers.

So: who has an interesting or fun lasagna recipe? Could be a family recipe or something you found in a periodical, whatever. I’d prefer recipes you’ve tried out yourself, but if you know of one you haven’t tried yet that works too. I’m open to anything, I’m not picky :)
