What are the best sites or forums to get advice on automotive maintenance issues?

It’s hard to tell which advice to follow when given suggestions on car maintenance. For me, 9 times out of 10 the suggestions are coming from a mechanic who happens to have a financial motive backing his advice.
My second option would be to ask others around me – everyone knows a little something about car maintenance – but it may not be accurate, or it may have nothing to do with my specific model of car.
Speaking of which, I drive a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. Where would I be able to get answers and information for the most inexpensive, but effective, car repair?
