How do I get my old mail back?

I have important emails with attachments and everything. I have the most recent aol. I moved them into the “saved mail” folder then I made a new folder and all of them disappeared from the saved mail folder, and the emails I had put in the new folder moved into the saved folder. Now I can’t find them in my inbox, or deleted items, or anything! Are they still there? I have searched them in the search box, and still no sight of them! They have to be somewhere don’t they?

They may or may not be on the server. If they are gone, the support staff at AOL may be able to help you from a backup, but to prevent this from ever happening again, use a desktop application for your email, rather than a web app, and then you can make sure you have a backup of your files.
