When my nan starts to have one or thinks she’s about to have one. I try and take her mind off things like talkin’ about the Lionman or what I’ve done at work in the day.. My nan gets them before goin’ out, she’s become a little stressed out when havin’ to deal with the public, strange but she’s gettin’ better…

This may seem silly but it does work.
When you are starting with a panic attack, make a list for yourself, with two columns. In the left hand column write down how you are feeling and what the consequences are for yourself. There may be lots and lots of reasons why you are feeling like this.

Then in the left hand column write down how you would feel if you DIDN’T feel panicky, and what the consequences would be, and how different your life would be.

Try to concentrate on the right hand column, imagining only the good things.
Repeat this every time you are having a panic attack. Hopefully you will begin to only concentrate on the GOOD things in life, and maybe the attacks will start to lessen.
I wish you luck

There is no simple remedy. It’s important to learn to say to your yourself: I know exactly what to do should a panic attack hit again. You could carry a dose of benzodiazepines with you in case of an emergency. Somebody told me that this strategy can lead to less panic attacks. It disrupts the panic about panic vicious circle.

See a doctor. take your prescription for Paxil to the pharmacist and you should feel better in two days.
