I have Iphone version 1.1.3 , can i still get the piano app for my phone?

Asked by trogdor (58points) March 1st, 2008

I already know about the phone having to be jailbroken, but i think you have to have version 1.1.2 to be able to jail break it.
Im not at all experienced at hacking into things but is there still a way i can get the piano and guitar applications onto my iphone?

you have to jailbreak your Iphone. But currently versions 1.1.1–1.1.3 are capeable of being jailbroken. So after a jailbreak you should be good to go.

dammm
I got 1.1.4
doesn’t hacking void the warantee?

trogdor's avatar

no because you can always reset your iphone
it only viods the warrenty if you actually open it up and mess with it
(im pretty sure)

It is possible to void your iPhone’s warranty if in the process of jail-breaking your iPhone bricks. Some claim that some jail-broken iPhones cannot be “reset” due to newer firmwares blocking the activation process through iTunes.

Yes its a risk. As long as your jailbreak goes well, then you will be able to change it back and Apple will be none the wiser. But if somthing goes wrong jailbreaking can brick your iPhone. Then your in trouble. I would say just wait a few weeks and that app and many more will probably be availinle through apple via the SDK.
