My hydrangea won't bloom for the second year. What to do?

Asked by pam321 (15points) February 2nd, 2010

My hydrangea plant is 7 years old. It bloomed for the last 5 years. Since we wanted to change its color from deep purple to blue, we used Ammonium Sulfate around it in the fall of 2008. Since then, it didn’t bloom. This year, we didn’t see any buds. What should we do?
