Would John Reed be a good suspect in the shooting of Theodore Roosevelt?

Considering the timing is right, would John Reed have reason to shoot Theodore Roosevelt based on his beliefs. He started the Communist Labor party in the United States. He hated war. Covered the Russian Revolution and actually wrote a book on the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia. He wrote for a socialist newspaper called the Masses. He also conducted a speech in Russia. Please help!
