How do I upload m4v videos to my iTouch?

I made sure that they’re in the right format, but when I go to add them (through add file, folder… etc) it doesn’t do anything.

They should go in through iTunes. Drag and drop the video files into your iTunes, and make sure your Touch preferences are set to sync videos. If the video’s aren’t in the right format, iTunes will convert them for you.
