Would it be possible for us to lurk in the chat room without being noticed?

Would anyone else like this option?

I’m not much of a chat room person. I really don’t have the time to sit and chat, but I would love to be able to lurk now and then without everyone knowing that I am there. Would this be a possibility? They have this option on USTREAM. Would it be difficult to implement here?

I’ve heard that there are a few that are nice to you in threads and pm’s, but then turn around and talk shit about you in the chat room. such high school bullshit if you ask me I’d love to know who I can’t trust.
