Which is an easier way to earn money : Legally or illegally?

Asked by tata12 (101points) February 17th, 2010

To earn money illegally there more risks involved and sometimes more effort is required.

For example, a thief should be spot on when he robs a house,if he gets caught,he has had it

Likewise for other ways too…lol

Some of them involves meticulous planning and effort that could probably requires you to be a genius to device

So if earning money illegally is so difficult difficult, why can’t people earn through fair means….choose the easier way out….lol

Illegal activities can bring in money quickly but is a high risk venture since you will go to jail if caught.
Unless you’re a banker that is.

Depends. How much money do you have?

It really depends which one you are better at doing…
If you are smart and make money using your brains like a doctor, or if you drop out of high school and make serious dough as a pimp :P

There are just too many variables to give a full answer.

Everything has its positives and negatives. What you lose from one you gain in another.

People who take the illegal way often out do it because they do not have any other choice. The idealized “genus” crook it something you see only in the movies. Most crooks are more of the dumb crook variety, except the high finance ponzi scheme type.

Illegal hands down, just be prepared for the shame and the risks and the sadness and the guilt and the hatred and the loneliness…

More money, illegal. Higher contribution to yourself, higher reward – esteem etc – legal. It’s not just about the money.

If you are a normal person: legally is easier. Because living with remorse will make you feel very uneasy all the time.
