How do you get rid of leg scars caused by picking at scabs?

Asked by chiplmprincessa (70points) February 18th, 2010

When I was younger I would just love to pick at my scabs. Now I barley get scabs and I think it’s disgusting. I really regret doing that to my self because now my legs are covered with scars. When I wear shorts I feel really self conscience. If you stand in the distance you cant really see them but if you come close you will be able to. I want to have pretty legs by the Summer time. Is that possible? I don’t mind buying anything. Please help me!

I have excellent results with a simple little product from the “Burt’s Bees” line. This one comes in a little round green tin and is called, “Doctor Burt’s Res-Q Ointment.” It costs about 5 bucks. The key is to use it consistently, several time a day, for a while. Then one day, I look down and all traces of the abrasion, scar are gone. I’m not a medical doctor, nor do I have any expertise in this field, or connection with the “Burt’s Bees” products. I’m just reporting on what I’ve repeatedly experienced using this product. I also use it for slight burns, bruises, other minor abrasions, with the same excellent results.
