Ditch Yahoo.

1) What program are you using?
2) What would you like to happen when you press ctr + t?

Wait…does it open a new tab that goes directly to yahoo? Change your startup page in the tools section of your browser.

@MrGeneVan ; no, if I have the browser open, but I want a brand new tab, if I open one it goes to yahoo.

So does it open a tab that goes to yahoo when you press Ctrl-T ? or it goes to yahoo on your current tab?

Well, what browser are you using?
edit: I’m assuming it’s Internet Explorer. Here’s an image to show you how to change that.

In that last box, select something other than “Your first home page”.

Tools > Options > Main Tab > You will see “When Firefox starts” under startup; change it to w/e you want.
