Would you recommend Nikon Coolpix P90?

Asked by FlyingElephantWithGiganticEars (59points) February 24th, 2010

Okay, so I’m just wanting to get a new camera.
and I hear that Nikon coolpix P90 is pretty good.
I’m not that oold so I can’t have a very expensive one, and
I’d rather not have another slim digital camera. :)
If anyone has P90, any advice would be good and any other suggestions on other cameras would be WONDERFUL.
Thank you!

I have the D90 and I’m completely in love with it.

I was looking at D90 and I was considering it but then $949 is kinda high for me right now :(
When did you buy it?

I got it for Christmas ‘08, I believe.

I mean, SLRs are great, but if you’re not gonna be printing 17×22 prints and using all the manual features, just get a point and shoot. I prefer canon to nikon, but that’s really just habit… Can’t say I’ve heard great things about the coolpix line, but I do know that the canon elph series is quite good. :)

I like the Panasonic Lumix with a Leica lens. This was recommended by a professional photographer and it’s great. In the 150–250 range, depending on where you buy it.
