How do I cook a pork butt?

I am so hungry for something like boston butt roast or something similar. How do I prepare a really really awesome cut of pork butt? I am really hungry for pork butt but I have no idea what to do with it. Crock pot? Grill? Oven? I have little kitchen experience. Some pointers for a killer butt roast would be much appreciated!
