What are some good non-cliché wedding reception dance songs (not first dance)?

We’re getting married this summer and want to play dance songs at the reception that don’t make people think of every other wedding they’ve been to, e.g., “Brick House”, “Chicken Dance”, etc.

We’re looking for good 50s – 80s music of all genres to appeal to everyone at the reception—not just twenty and thirty-somethings. Any suggestions? Thanks!
