What is Ireland's calling code?

Asked by tripe (146points) March 16th, 2010

This guy gave me two numbers
00353 833605605*** and 00353 83326***
I think “00353 833” is the calling code number he put on leaving me
605605*** or 26*** so what calling code should I put on?

I thought Ireland was 00353 and his county is Killarney so 56
but 00353–56— 26*** or 00353–56-605605** isn’t working what am I doing wrong?

@PupnTaco
If that was the right answer I wouldn’t be asking, now take your shit link away.

If you’re calling a cell phone you have to dial 011 first.

I got this from @PupnTaco ‘s link.

Oh. And the county that starts with a “K” is “Kilkenny” If he’s in the city Killarney, he’s in county Kerry

also…

The code for Ireland is 353. The code for County Kerry is 066.
However, you must drop the leading zero when dialling Kerry from abroad.
Example: to call the Aquadome 066–7128899
Within Kerry dial 712 8899
Within Ireland but outside Kerry dial 066 712 8899
Outside Ireland dial +353 66 712 8899 (+ denotes your international access code)
To call other countries from Ireland prefix the country code with 00

@Seek_Kolinahr
so in this example
00–353-66–83326***?

I called 0035364–26013
they said it’s now 00353 64 66 and the five digit number so 26013 I’m guess but it’t not a number
