to have a lasting relationship, the great personality would be better.

Even personality doesn’t make them a potential choice. The connection and who they are have them either occur as a unique opportunity, or not. Personality is just part of who they are, and is often just how they’re acting at the time for whatever reason.

how do you judge personality then?
the way i always take it when people say “she has a great personality” is either: “I really like her” “We’re really compatible” or “We get along, really well.”
No one has a perfect personality, its just the certain type that we prefer.

If I find myself judging someone’s personality, I let go and take other perspectives to get a more authentic sense of who they really are as a person. Though, people do have habitual ways of being, and I can certainly appreciate or get upset by those – I just won’t judge them as a whole person for them, unless I’m stuck in my own automatic thinking at the time (which happens, of course – it’s an automatic behavior).

Or if all I can see is one persona, like an Internet persona that is only showing me one facet that annoys me – sometimes I react to the persona because that’s all there is in that medium.
