Best way to learn Spanish?

I’ve been wanting to learn Spanish, preferably Latin American Spanish, for some time now. I’ve tried the Rosetta Stone demos in the past and they just don’t strike me as something that I would really enjoy to use. I’ve read a lot of negative comments about Rosetta Stone in the past and I was hoping to find something else. I’ve been looking at this website called livemocha.com that seems really interesting, but I don’t know anyone else that has used it.

Any advice?
