A few years ago, I gave away my television, computer and stereo, as well as my ipod. They say ignorance is bliss, and I’m telling you, the last few years were the best of my life. I recently returned to school, and so I bought a laptop a few weeks ago…......I thought…......hm, get the news, keep in touch with friends, no wasting of paper…..it has it’s benefits, but I can already tell I’m becoming more stresssed out. Welcome to the real world, I guess. Still, I want to go back. Heaven on earth is the only possible description of life without technology.

Aw man, I was just reading an article about this in Discovery magazine! It did list a percentage of time spent on “data consumption” (i.e., watching TV, reading, internet browsing, etc). and that something like ⅔ of the time that information was in digital format. Let me find that article and I can get you a better answer.
