Pokémon players: How can I find the 5th gym to obtain my badge?

•I have four badges so far. I’ve been all around that area and can’t seem to find the 5th gym anywhere. I obviously don’t have HM Rock Climb so I can’t climb anything. But I can Fly. I don’t know where to go and I’ve been stuck here for days.

•Also, I am stuck in Valor Lakefront because the little fat guy in overalls won’t let me go foward to Sunnyshore City. What do I need to do in order to pass?

You are trying to get into the 8th gym. You need to go to past the fat guy in overalls all the way to the beach and go to Pastoria city to the left. The fifth gym leader is a water type.

@Narl On the DS and I’m using Diamond. Unfortunatley none of my water type pokemon can swim me across that lake since they don’t have that ability yet.

@Narl Thanks! I have six badges now and I’m trying to find out what to do next since I’m a little lost. I got it though. And I’m switching between SoulSilver and Diamond every few minutes now. :)
