I have a Samsung LCD computer screen and like it so far.

If I were buying a TV, I’d want an LG.

I have an LG, and it’s fantastic. It was a bit cheaper than some brands (Sony, Samsung, Panasonic) and a bit more expensive than some brands (Vizio, Toshiba). It’s been a really good quality TV with great picture, and I’m glad I bought it.

I have a Sony, but I lucked out at a moving sale. For my next set, I was planning on a Samsung. One of my roomirs has a Samsung and it’s a top-notch set. There are various models, though, and I want one to hook up my PC to, for which I’ll probably end up spending ~$1000 for. Depending on what specs you want, YMMV.

I would buy Samsung or Sony.

At work I have purchased a lot of Sharps and LGs for the price I get them for.

I got a 47” LG Scarlet about 12 months ago. It was quite expensive, but is great quality, has a fantastic picture, awesome sound and superb features. I’d definately buy another LG.

If you’re willing to shell-out just a liitle bit more, you should check out the Samsung LED TV’s. . . I’m actually waiting for the 60” LED to come out in the next few weeks for a project I’m working on. We’ve already ordered a few of the 55” and 46” Samsung LEDs. They’re supposed to be even more energy efficient plus best video quality available right now than any LCD TV.

Samsung… because I have one and it hasn’t had a problem yet.

I have a 36” Samsung. It’s a little more expensive than other brands, but not as expensive as a Sony. With sony you are paying for the name. Samsung too, but not as much. And my friend used to work in a Samsung “repair” center, and they use parts made by the same company that makes parts for Sony. . . so same shit (maybe?)

But if you are willing to take a “risk,” (not much of a risk if you ask me), I would go with WESTINGHOUSE. The best TV I ever bought was a 42” Westinghouse 1080p. It was hundreds cheaper than the brand names, and it looked better than any of my buds TV’s, they even agreed. If Westinghouse came out with an LED/LCD, I wouldn’t be afraid to get one just b/c it isn’t a Sony or Samsung. Go with the Westinghouse, you won’t be disappointed.
