A screwy thingy inny for changing light bulbs? I know exactly what you mean, but not what they’re called. It’s kind a like a grabber, isn’t it?

Something like this?

@johnpowell Ah – a “light bulb changer” – who’d a thunk it?

Those things are called “Blonde’s”... and you’ll need about a dozen of them.

Ask for a telescoping pole with a light bulb changing attachment. You get them in kits that also have attachments for dusting, etc., or ones with just the light bulb changing attachment.

Hah! How many psychiatrists does it take to change a light bulb?
Only one but it takes a long time and the light bulb has to want to change.

I do not understand the need to have a product that you can only use for one limited purpose maybe once a few months when you can do the same with a multipurpose tool that you can use more often for a wider array of tasks.
Like in this case. Why buy a ‘lighbulb changer’ when you can do the same thing with a ladder. And you can change the curtainst too, or paint the ceiling more easily, or reach other high places.
