Connecting PS3 to LCD monitor?

Asked by joon1986 (185points) March 24th, 2010

Hi,
I bought LG 22353V today and having trouble connecting it with my PS3
I am using hdmi to DVI and cannot get it to work
I know I don’t have problem with either PS3 nor cable cuz they works great with my HPw1907
The monitor knows it is connected but it says DVI “out of range” error on the screen
will this be solved by getting hdmi to hdmi cable or can I simply solve this problem by changing settings
let me know if you have any suggestion or solution!!
THANKS

You need to hold down the power button as you boot the machine. That’ll reset the video settings of the PS3. That’ll be $100USD.
