I have the choice to try out any career for a day in LA- What should I do? (Or what would you do?)
My Junior class is having a program called career day, where they match us up with someone in the city that does a certain job, and we get to follow them around for a day. We can basically choose anything- What should I do?
Some friends are doing nascar driver, music producer, etc. What would be a really cool job to do for a day?

Crime and trauma scene decontaminator. You know, the guys that clean the blood and guts in incidents. In LA, that’s gotta be an interesting job!
Casting director or a special makeup effects artist.
FBI agent

I think my top choice as of now might be a rollercoaster tester or film composer…
lol, that’s funny, I was actually thinking NASCAR or F1. I actually got a chance to do that once and it was a blast, I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Second choice… special effects and makeup (as said by @Vunessuh) just because I’ve always enjoyed seeing how that stuff is done and maybe early stage video game designer because I’d love the chance to see how well some of the ideas I’ve had stack up and enjoy the back and forth of a creative process.

You could work on the set of an adult entertainment company (assuming you’re over 18)... I’d bet that’d be an EYE OPENING experience lol. Just realized this was your Junior year, you’d probably have to wait a year or two then.
Migrant farm worker. Maybe you’re from a working class family and this doesn’t apply, but it seems like there are a lot of middle class folks who don’t seem to get how other people live. So I recommend migrant farm worker. Or maybe garbage collector, or janitor, or some kind of sewage maintenance. You’d have the opportunity to learn a lot more than you would from any “cool” job if you opened your eyes.
@gorillapaws Giggles. I recommend he/she stays away from porn sets. I’ve been on them. They smell funny and the constant moans become traumatizing. XD
A gay fashion designer. They always appear to be having fun!
Massage therapist to the bunnies at the mansion.
Something in government. Try out a DA’s office. Or a Judge’s office. Maybe the mayor?
Sound engineer in a movie studio or music venue.
Set decorator for movies! FUN!!
