what's bimbo's in san francisco like and do they have good food?

I don't know about the food in Bimbo's but as for a venue, it is pretty big. Still, the stage isn't too high up or far away so one can get pretty close to the front if you so desire. In comparison to other San Francisco venues as points of reference: Bigger than Bottom of the Hill, Smaller than the Warfield, no balcony like Great American.

Damn nice venue - sorta swanky loungey. Go early, get a table. Can't really speak to the food. I think it's decent but pricey. Good mixed drinks.
