How to wash windows w/o streaks?

Asked by gailcalled (54644points) February 6th, 2007
I know that one should do it on a cloudy day, but I always end up w. a mess. Vinegar, ammonia, green product, newspaper, squeegee..the pros use squeegees, I notice.

I just checked MS. She says either a mild solution of vinegar or ammonia and water in one site and a little powered dishwasher detergent in another. But pops for squeegee both times.
