I think so…
once its up and running there will probably be a flood of new apps

The soon-to-be released apps are the reason why I didn’t jailbreak my iPhone. I’m sure there will be some great stuff released in June (there were over 1000 developers that received the SDK pre-release, so they’ve had some time to bake up some good stuff); beyond that there are bound to be more and more great apps coming beyond June. The iPhone is bound to keep getting better with all the increased functionality from these additional apps, apps which will probably make jailbreak redundant. (just my take)

Well the new apps are official and a heck of a lot safer. I think the app store will have many apps similar to jailbroken apps.
