It was recent and was not resolved amicably, and I am fine with that ;)
I almost always stand my ground…except for the times when I don’t give a rat’s ass.She is lucky that I didn’t make her eat her wig.LOL

I got no time for angry people in public. If I bump someone, I apologize and keep going. Why do I want to stop and escalate the situation? I want to go home. Getting punched isn’t part of the “going home” plan.

The last one I can remember was about 4 years ago. I was driving my pickup truck pulling a loaded horsetrailer and some crazy guy on a Harley was mad about something. I never did figure out what. My guess is that he didn’t think I was going fast enough. He pulled up next to me and started waving “the finger” and saying something – curses, evidently, I couldn’t hear. I just laughed, smiled, and waved and he rolled on to whatever angry destiny he wanted to pursue. Maybe I should have been frightened, but I wasn’t. I was on a highway with nothing to stop me. One little turn of my wheel and he would have been road kill.

My girlfriend and I like to people watch, but sometimes I feel she says things a little too loud, as if she wants the person to hear her. A few weeks ago a teen was wearing pajama pants in public, she made her remark, and the young man actually confronted her. He was saying how it should not matter to her anyways and it does not affect her life. She started walking away while I aleviated the situation. Of course she got mad at me because I didn’t back her up…..

A TSA officer at BWI confiscated a jar containing a scant amount of foot cream because the label said it (at one point) contained 6oz. The jar was transparent and one could easily see it was almost empty but no… He wouldn’t let me open the jar to show him, and so I of course stood there and waited while he painstakingly inspected the other contents of my carry-on bag. Once he was done he gave me the 3oz rule speech in the most condescending tone and let me through.

A friend of the cook was chewing all the delicacies in that street cafe when I was in the line waiting for my take-home food, although the way she was chewing her meal gross me I ignored her all the time, even when I heard she whispered to the cook about me,that rich girl, arrogant person, bla, bla, bla… Of course I feel offended but I keep stand on my ground and wait for my food, and go home. Not long after that,I spread some words about this particular cafe and how bad its employees are, there are not many people there anymore,I wonder if this is because of my widely spread words?,who care!,I won’t visit that place again anyway.

Recently I was at a bar with a few friends (one if them who happened to be a gay man). A drunk guy decided it would be funny to call my gay friend a fag. Not okay with me. So I confronted him. He apologized and I walked away satisfied.

I’ve been asking people to sign a petition. So.. yeah. Some people don’t like that.
