Your old ID will have your birthday on it. The bar is completely capable of doing the math.

Maybe bring your passport in case?

If you don’t have any sort of photo ID, you’re probably out of luck.

Do you have a passport or any type of state-issued ID with your picture and your birthday on it?
What country are you in? If you’re in the USA, listen to @Seek_Kolinahr .

Yes.
If your birthday is this Friday, it should say “Under 21 Until: 4/23/2010”
You’ll be of legal age on that day, so your old ID is enough.
Happy Birthday. :)

Yes. When I turned 21 I had the same problem. I had no problems.

Have a drink on me and congratulations on your B Day. your old photo license will have your dob on it and surely someone at the bar can do something besides pour drinks. they will okay you to enter and they may just buy you your first drink on the house.

Oh, and arrange a designated driver! A DUI will cost you about $9,000 these days, plus all the hassle of losing your license for a year.

it usually depends on the bar, club or restaurant that you want to go to, i.e. “store policy”

the suggestion of bringing another form of i.d. such as a passport would probably be a good idea, but make sure to also bring something to secure the id so you don’t get all drunk and lose it! that would just be a bummer!

good luck!
