running sqlcmd from network computer

Asked by knight (35points) March 11th, 2008

Hi,

I have an MSSQL database on one computer and I want to run sqlcmd from another computer in the same network. How can I do it?

In ORACLE database, for example, I can insert to tnsnames.ora file the names of computer that can access the database. Is there something similar in MSSQL?
