Does anyone know what's happening with the HBO show 'Eastbound & Down'?

The show was renewed and the new season was supposed to have started in January, according to TV.com, but it never aired. I can’t find anything on the HBO website that gives any information on when we might next get our Kenny Powers fix. Any of you guys heard any rumors or know what the deal is?

From an interview with the director about season two.. “No word on when that second season will hit, but considering they haven’t started shooting yet, it may be late 2010 at the earliest.”
