How come my eyes are drying out quite frequently now?

Well, before my eyes didn’t really dry out too often, only sometimes at work. But now my eyes dry out constantly, especially in the morning when I wake up. Does anybody know the reason to this? I now use eye drops, but I hope to find out the reason to this.
