I need to display my computer's HDMI output in 4 diferent screens?

Asked by grrgold (91points) April 30th, 2010

I have a small computer with a VGA and an HDMI output. I am using the HDMI output to display onto a 42” Plasma TV. I want to run the same signal to 3 other monitors (not necessarily TV) that are located in different rooms of my business. The other monitors will be smaller than the Plasma TV. Is it possible to “split” the video signal and have it display properly on all 4 screens even if they are each different dimensions?

@rpmpseudonym That seems fairly cheap, actually.

There is no need to split the signal. Just buy a graphics card that supports HDMI and VGA port .Connect VGA port TV.There are special cables for connecting TV to computer(I don’t remember the name though)!
For the computer matter, you have to create three subnets and create a bridge between these 2 computers.

@gnsagar27 I don’t have any expansion slots on my computer, it is just a single signal going out to the TV

@rpmpseudonym I think that will do it! According to the description it will down-regulate to accommodate various display sizes, which is what i need! Thanks

I recommand you to invest in new motherboard or new computer. There is nothing you can do with your current computer!
