Where is a good school to take surfing lessons?

Hey everyone!

I recently moved to Malibu and want to learn to surf. What is a good surf school, either in or near Malibu? I used to boogie board and skim board so I am not a complete spaz.

California is a great place to learn how to surf, but we are located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina which is a good spot to learn also. If you ever come to North Carolina, we have some great people that you could contact to learn how to surf. Good Luck to you!
