Can anyone help me find Smack the Pony seasons?

Asked by Trillian (21148points) May 3rd, 2010

As I understand it, my friend tells me that what he has found on the internet is in some sort of British format which is evidently different from what is used in America. Is there a legal way to convert them to a format which I can play on an American DVD player? Or is there another place which I have not looked that has them already in the correct format? Hulu has them listed but when I click on them, none of them are actually there for viewing. You tube has very short clips but not entire episodes. I really miss watching Smack the Pony. I’ve worn out Little Britain, Black Adder, One Foot in the Grave, Father Ted and Fawlty Towers. I would really appreciate any help.
(Happy mods? I wasn’t trying to be illegal the last time!)

You could buy a region free dvd player, so you are able to put in a disc from any country & it will play properly. Region free dvd players are relatively cheap & can be found anywhere electronics are sold. If you want to get more complicated, some dvd players will have a ‘secret’ menu you can access & type in a 6 or so digit password, which will unlock the region block. You will have to google the model dvd player you have to see if it’s ‘unlockable.’

Try here. You can watch them online, it looks like. They wanted me to download a “new version” of some software but I didn’t, hit cancel and it worked fine. It looks legit? I’m not sure. I can’t vouch for it personally. It may not be exactly legal so be careful. You might want to research the site a little before you spend too much time on it.
