If you scratch where it itches, how do you handle getting caught?

You might be stereotypical bubba if… you scratch wherever and whenever, without regard to those around you. If you get caught, how do you save face?

Or, if you’re a perfect gentle-person, how do you take care of urgent itches?

I’m asking because I just got caught scratching Pat McGroin.
