How to stop stinging eyes?

I’ve been a little upset for most of today and my eyes are stinging like crazy. They don’t usually stop until the next day.

Is there anything I can do, or put on them to stop them stinging?

A warm wet towel compress over your eyes will help relieve the soreness from being upset and help you relax. Lay down, place it over your eyes and take a well deserved break.

warm tea bags, or even cool cucumbers. Close your eyes with one of these one them for 10 to 15min. your eyes will feel much better.

@Sophief: If you have been crying hard, that will irritate your eyes. There are good OTC drops to get temporary relief. Ask your pharmacist.
