What tv show from either the past or present day would you feel right at home in, if you could be transported there by the hypothetical telly gods that is?

A show which you either loved the characters or the setting or simply the overall feel of.Where you could quite happily see yourself feeling welcome & enjoying the company?

Dr.Who
Lost- Though it could be freaky at times.
Fantasy island- it was campy but would be awesome to live on

Seinfeld, Family Matters, and Married with Children.

Monty Python
Doctor Who
Soap
Seinfeld
Red Dwarf
The third series of Blackadder (though I might have to have a sachet of lavender tied to my wrist at all times. I’m sure that, to my nose, there would be some serious funk all around, and not the George Clinton kind)

@Dog Fantasy Island, hmmm “yes boss”

I feel like all my answers about tv are the same, regardless of the question: Buffy. Also, Ghost Hunters, Lost, and Roseanne. I would feel very comfortable with the characters/people and situations in any of these shows. But mostly Buffy.

Great question, by the way. A little moment of fantasizing for today. :)

@ubersiren It’s all good whatever.

Babylon Five. I can’t imagine a more diverse and interesting place to live.

@aprilsimnel Soap! Oh my gosh, that show used to kill me!

Frasier – sadly enough. And probably the Rocky and Bullwinkle Show.

Star Trek: Deep Space 9. Cool station, and I’d love to hang out with a shapeshifter!

Sounds good to me, got plenty of beer, too. Makes everything funnier. :D

When almost drunk I find if we turn the sound off & make our own dialogue it really does make for shits & giggles.

aprilsimnel's avatar

@ucme – Then you need to find DVDs for this show. It’d be right up your street.

ucme's avatar

Ahh yes can be almost as good as the real thing, depending on who’s playing of course :¬}

Berserker's avatar

@ucme I’ve done this before. You speak the truth, it can get pretty damn funny. (I like making the sound effects, too.)

ucme's avatar

@Symbeline Well then I have a Jason mask & blood drenched machete what the fuck are we waiting for?

downtide's avatar

@Symbeline Xena’s world would be cool but much as I adore Gabrielle, I don’t think she’d be interested in me. I’m a guy.

Aesthetic_Mess's avatar

F.R.I.E.N.D.S I LOVE THAT SHOW! It doesn’t even feel like you’re watching actors. You feel like you’re watching real people.

Berserker's avatar

@downtide What are you talking about? She’s a complete slut, not even halfway through season one and she’s had like five boyfriends already. XD

downtide's avatar

@Symbeline Wasn’t she “an item” with Xena? I thought they were supposed to be lesbians.
