Can someone help me get this song out of my head?

Asked by poofandmook (17320points) May 10th, 2010

I grabbed my Lady Gaga CD this morning, not realizing that the disc wasn’t in the case. I specifically wanted it because I have Bad Romance stuck in my head so bad it’s driving me nutso.

Anybody have an mp3 they could email me? If I don’t listen to it I’m going to go insane.

And I do own the CD, so it’s not pirating music!

Try Youtube. I’m at work, so I can’t supply a link to that song, but you can search for it.

Perhaps, a different version? (NSFW).

youtube is blocked on my work computer… and apparently so is grooveshark.

Listen to this song instead. It’s the ultimate break-up song and it will effectively clear any GaGa-ness from your mind as well as any semblance of joy

Can’t watch youtube!

In the town where I was born,
Lived a man who sailed to sea,
And he told us of his life,
In the land of submarines,

So we sailed on to the sun,
Till we found the sea green,
And we lived beneath the waves,
In our yellow submarine,

We all live in yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

And our friends are all aboard,
Many more of them live next door,
And the band begins to play.

(Trumpets play)

We all live in yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

(Full speed ahead, Mr. Barkley, full speed ahead!
Full speed over here, sir!
All together! All together!
Aye, aye, sir, fire!
Captain! Captain!)

As we live a life of ease(life of ease)
Every one of us(every one of us) has all we need,(has all we need)
Sky of blue,(sky of blue) and sea green,(sea of green)
In our yellow(In our yellow) submarine.(submarine) ( Haha! )

We all live in yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

(fading)

We all live in yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine,
We all live in yellow submarine,
yellow submarine, yellow submarine.

@JeanPaulSartre Not a bad idea…

For the third time: youtube is blocked on my work computer, and since I am at work, I can’t watch youtube.

poofandmook's avatar

@JeanPaulSartre: lol well sort of. Now I have to listen to that song too!

jfos's avatar

@poofandmook I know, I know. I was making a little joke. Seriously though, Youtube might have it

Okay, now I got a submarine, someone crapping themselves, and Nicholas Cage in my head. Help!

Well, i must say i have never, ever heard this song. i listened and i like the beat….only.

This song reminds me of a prostitute with aids that wants to share it with eveyone and could not care less on the results it creates.

Bad Romance, bad lyrics, good beat. one out of three ain’t bad.

poofandmook's avatar

@john65pennington: Good voice. If you block out the lyrics and just hear the voice and the beat, it’s good. lol

I just can’t get you out of my head
Boy, your lovin’ is all I think about
I just can’t get you out of my head
Boy, it’s more than I dare to think about

I just can’t get you out of my head
Boy, your lovin’ is all I think about
I just can’t get you out of my head
Boy, it’s more than I dare to think about

Every night, every day
Just to be there in your arms
Won’t you stay
Won’t you then stay forever
And ever and ever and ever…

Orwell’s Ministry of Prole Propaganda couldn’t have crafted a better song.

@aprilsimnel Not to mention, it’s well-produced.

I caved and paid .99 for it. Oh well. I can probably find that under the seat of my car.

Adirondackwannabe's avatar

The radio station just finished playing Bad Romance. Now that’s stuck in my head. Curses to you poofandmook.

poofandmook's avatar

@Adirondackwannabe: they would’ve played it whether or not I posted about it!
