Are there any free video converters for mac?

I’ve found a ton of free video converters for Windows, but that doesn’t do me any good. I just can’t seem to find any free video converters for mac. They are all trial only and leave water marks on my videos.

Any suggestions?

I’ve heard great things about Handbrake, but it didn’t work on my computer… so in case you have similar issues, I use Evom.
